Aspire Behavioral Services understands how overwhelming getting started with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services can be. Let us help you understand ABA basics and the process for initiating our services.

Our Programs

Assessment and Service Progress

Assessment & Evaluation

Our ABA services generally start with an assessment to identify intervention objectives and develop your child’s customized treatment program. You may be asked to assist in gathering some information or data during the assessment processes. Our assessments are designed to provide us with information critical to the development of an effective treatment program for your child and a combination of strategies and tools may be utilized during our assessment processes.

After our assessment is complete, a treatment program will be developed and submitted to your insurance or payor source for review and approval. Insurances and/or payors can take time to review and approve treatment programs.

Before initiating services, the treatment program will be reviewed with you, and you will be asked to consent to the services being recommended.

As services for your child progress, we will be tracking, monitoring and communicating their progress toward their treatment program goals. This may include the following activities:

Data Collection

At Aspire Behavioral Services, we utilize a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR) which includes a data collection program to collect data on your child’s performance towards goals throughout therapy sessions. Your team members will utilize electronic devices to record data on specific targets outlined by your Clinical Supervisor.

Progress Reporting

Progress towards your child’s treatment program related goals is monitored on a regular basis by your Clinical Supervisor during their appointments [LR1] [JL2] with your family. Additionally, formal progress reports will be written on a schedule determined as part of your treatment program and/or determined by your insurance provider. Should you request additional progress reports, this can be discussed with your Clinical Supervisor and provided to you through our EHR parent portal.
